Hurricane Irene pictures.

Just wanted to post some pictures. It was not that bad. But you know we live in an apartment building in Brookline, MA, it's mostly on the hills so we don't get any flooding, lots of broken branches and uprooted trees on every street. These two trees are in the park behind our house. The hurricane was downgraded to tropical storm, the rain was not that bad but the wind was.

We did not lose power, so I consider it OK.

  1. Glad to hear that all is ok with you and family! Looks like it will be a big clean-up with the uprooted trees. Happy you did not lose power!
    Take care!

  3. Your girls are so cute...they look like they don't quite know what to make of it all. Those trees are HUGE! Thank goodness they fell into the street and not into houses. The town just to the north of me still doesn't have power. Streetlights are out and the state police are directing traffic. My girlfriend, who took a newborn grandchild home on Friday, didn't get power until last night. And, my husband had many detours on his route up to New York to take my daughter to college. It was a crazy storm....I'm glad you weathered it well.
