My Other Hobby

I haven't made too many cards recently but it does not mean I am not making anything. I am obsessed with crochet flowers, motifs and appliques. Once I searched the internet and could not find too many patterns, but just this week I remembered to look at pinterest.com (I don't know why I never learned to use it, it gives so many ideas) and I was so surprised to find so many interesting patterns and tutorials that I want to try them all. I feel ashamed I am not using my new Cameo, but in fact I am just dying to use it more. I think I want to try so much stuff that it's hard to pick where to start.

My New Adventure

I am so excited and happy to announce that I bought a new cutting machine Cameo by Silhouette America. I just received it on Monday and am deeply in love with this machine, it has so many possibilities, it seems I will never be able to learn everything but I will take one step at a time. My friend Diane thinks that I made her buy this machine but in fact it was her who made me, but I can take all responsibility and don't blame anyone, because I am very happy. And I know she is too.
Anyway, I am kind of sad that I have no time to play with my new toy, but here are my first two cards that I made with Cameo. Enjoy!

Two Cards Using Flower Shoppe

These two cards were made using Flower Shoppe and Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut cartridges. Added MS punched borders, some pearls and lace. The bird is from Sophie cart (that was a gift from my friend Diane).
