Not sure if anyone is still reading my blog but I wanted to share this info. I had seen a youtube video where a lady was sharing that she bought these blades to use with her Cricut machine and they work perfect even better than the Cricut brand blades. So I went ahead and got the blades too, though I figured $4.99 for 5 blades sounds too good to be true.
Let me tell you I got my blades in a week and tried them right away. All I can say she was right! I am so happy with them I started using and loving my Cricut expression again. It cuts all the small holes that could not cut before. And the most surprising thing for me I was able cut DCWV glitter cardstock the older ones that I had never cut without tears in my eyes. i still use multicut, blade depth 5 and pressure 4 (I should do 5 I think it may be even better), but it cuts great small details as well.
Here is a Teddy Bear winter card, red is DCWV cardstock. I'll share more cards soon.
Enjoy!

Crazy About Butterflies
I've been crocheting a lot recently. Making some cute little hearts for Valentine's and other tiny motifs and embellishments. I spend so much time on Pinterest and always find more and more patterns. I listed several sets of hearts and flowers in pinks and reds on etsy and they all sold out pretty fast. Then as I sometime do I offered to make some more to Cricut MB members, there are a few ladies who are anticipating my crochet pieces. I never wanted to make a business out of it, because it's impossible. But it makes me so happy that people enjoy what I make. So now I am finishing several orders and will start making something for Easter.
I found the cutest ever ( I love simple and tiny crochet items) butterfly patterns and I am just completely lost, because I can't stop making them. I am annoying to each and everyone in my family because I put them in a small box and add to my collection every day, showing them to my girls and my husband and telling them (not even asking, I don't even need their opinion:)) how beautiful my butterflies are!!! I am taking pictures and sending emails. Crazy! I love my butterflies!!!

Cupid Bear
Here is a cute cupid bear made using Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge. I added some glitter to his wings and dress (or what is it called?). I also added one of my own crochet hearts. How convenient it is when I can make my own embellishments just using a cotton thread and crochet hook. I love it!

Seal Card
I made this card at the request of my daughter Adelle. Sometimes when my girls don't know what to do they love to browse through Cricut magazines. There are pages with just the silhouette images mixed from different cartridges in each issue and our favorite game is to play i-spy with these images. You ask what you want another person to find and then take turns. The magazine proves to be very useful.
Anyway...here is the card.

Crocheted Hearts
I am excited about how simple these hearts are to make, but they look really cute. Ironically the pattern I found on Pinterest led me to the Russian website similar to Ravelry in English, but why is it now complicated to understand the Russian word descriptions. Oh well, it's been 12 years since I left Russia...

First Valentine's Day Card
Hi! This is the first card I made in 2013. Yay! And I like it very much which means I am encouraged by myself to resume making cards more often. The koala bear is from Create a Critter 2 as well as the heart behind her. I added some pearly heart embellishments and a ribbon.
