Hurricane Irene pictures.

Just wanted to post some pictures. It was not that bad. But you know we live in an apartment building in Brookline, MA, it's mostly on the hills so we don't get any flooding, lots of broken branches and uprooted trees on every street. These two trees are in the park behind our house. The hurricane was downgraded to tropical storm, the rain was not that bad but the wind was.

We did not lose power, so I consider it OK.

Couple of Cards Made From Leftovers

Sometimes I cut some shapes and have no idea what card to make, then I put them in a box, and now I have a box full of unused cuts. I thought I would try and make some quick cards. I am not happy with them especially with the bird card. I don't know why I made such a wide white border, but I think I may still use these cards for my daughters' friends birthdays.

This card was made using Florals Embellished cart. I am still in love with it. The bird was cut at 2.75 with no problems layering it. Enjoy!

Birthday Girl Card

I just loved this card made by Simply Pam over here http://simply-pam.blogspot.com/2011/08/episode-74-simply-crafts-w-glora-pam.html. I just had to scraplift it. I loved the idea of enlarging the cut and cutting only the top part of it. The girl is from Rock Princess. Enjoy!

Lace Flowers

This is what happens when I am watching TV and don't want to turn on my Cricut, but my hands are always itchy to create something. I got out different laces that I have, hot glue gun and made these flowers by pleating and turning lace, and then adding matching flowers and pearl/rhinestone centers.
I already used one on my Strawberry card. I hope you like them.
